Football

With almost 800 players taking part in around 8 tournaments across Switzerland every year, football is the largest sport at Special Olympics Switzerland. The tournament is played in a 7-a-side format (6 outfield players and one goalkeeper).

The home station of FC Zug94 and its secondary pitches, including 4 plastic pitches, are ideal for the football tournament.
With the Special Team Zug 94, the soccer club already integrates an entire team of people with intellectual disabilities.
