Equestrian sport is technically very demanding. A variety of disciplines are offered, such as Western, trail, and dressage. Equestrian sport impressively demonstrates the importance of interaction between rider and horse. At the Special Olympics, riders and horses do not know each other before the competition, which gives the sport an extremely exciting dynamic and requires a great deal of sensitivity on both sides.

One week after the show jumping competition in Zug, the riders will benefit from optimal conditions. The specially prepared terrain for the professionals will be available again. The surrounding infrastructure will also be used again.
