Tournaments are played in so-called triplets, a team consisting of three athletes or two athletes and a unified partner. Although this sport, unlike bocce, is not part of the international Special Olympics program and therefore not offered at the World Games, it is played with great success in Switzerland.

The beautiful gravel court directly on the lake, which was redesigned for the National Summer Games 2026, will be available to the Pétanque Club for future competitions.
